Joint Program with Hong Kong University (General Education Unit) - 

Lee Shiu Socio-Economic study project 2007

1. On July 13 & July 14, we have joint program with University of Hong Kong. (General Education Unit) to organize a cultural tour for 80 students from Harvard University, Yale University, Peking University, Fudan University and Tsinghua University. 

2. The tour will cover major monuments, as well as significant sites in Hong Kong history. In this heritage tour, we will visit Western Market, Boham Strand, Possessing Point, Kwong Fu Ancestral Hall, the Upper market, the earliest YMCA in Hong Kong, the Central Market, the Graham Street Market.

3. The tour let the student have a deep understand the history & city development of Hong Kong. We also discussed the issues of community heritage. community ecology, organic revitalization and how to build a better city.
