文化遺產除了歷史建築之外，還包括我們非物質文化遺產和社區文化遺產。過
去，香港保存不少珍貴的民間工藝和傳統風俗，這些都是我們重要的非物質文
化遺產，除著時代的發展，不少風俗和工藝漸漸地消逝。因此這項計劃邀請市
民和各界團體人士踴躍參與。我們相信與大眾共同推動保育的工作文化遺產才
能薪火相傳。此外，我們更邀請學者，專業建築師，規劃師，舉辦城市發展歷
史的展覽和研討會，加深市民對香港歷史的了解和認識。

community heritage. We believe that
involvements of
different generations and
groups are essential for heritage
conservations. Various
age groups and
parties are invited to participate and take
an active role in our
programme.
承蒙 香港賽馬會慈善信託基金捐助，本中心開展一系列的教育及外展計劃，讓學生通過研習及實地考察等活動，進行文化保育教育及公民教育，使他們更認識香港、培養歸屬感，並了解公民責任。
